"I have returned from spending a week in St. Louis at the National Weather Association (NWA) Annual Meeting. There were 595 members from all across the country at the awards banquet."
The National Public Education Award statement read at the banquet:
The plaque reads: “For being a champion of severe weather and climate outreach, organizing the Central Plains Severe Weather Symposium and Family Weatherfest (CPSWS) in Lincoln, NE, year after year since 1999, and running a national weather camp program”.
